On the back of the box

Man is no longer in control

Jane Chase arrives at the isolated coastal home of renowned zoologist Dr. Steven Phillip to spend the summer assisting with his research into primate behaviour. Sharing the sprawling estate are three remarkable apes: the mischievous chimpanzee Imp, the elderly female Voodoo, and…. Link…. an ageing orangutan whose uncanny intelligence has earned him the role of the household’s silent butler.

When Dr. Phillip suddenly disappears, Jane is left alone in the secluded mansion with only the apes for company. As a series of disturbing incidents escalates into violence, she begins to realise that Link is far more intelligent, and far more dangerous, than anyone ever imagined. Cut off from the outside world and trapped in a house where every shadow conceals a new threat, Jane must uncover the truth before she becomes the next victim of Link’s terrifying instinct for survival.
