Something has fallen from the sky and crashed deep inside a remote national park. What fell isn’t from this world, and neither is the blood inside it.
When the local mosquito population begins feeding on the remains of this extraterrestrial visitor, nature takes a frightening evolutionary leap. The insects grow and their appetite grows with them. Suddenly a summer night in the wilderness becomes a feeding ground for a swarm of enormous, bloodthirsty monsters.
Caught in the middle are the park employees, some unlucky visitors, a scientist searching for answers, and a band of criminals whose problems are about to become quite insignificant by comparison.
